The hotel is conveniently located, in walking distance from the main temple and lakeside, also there's plenty of restaurants and shops. The room was spacious, hit water in the shower, wifi connection was stable. Breakfast was good as well

Fantastic location, courteous and friendly staff, very clean, beautiful old fashioned hotel, with beautiful wooden flooring and furniture but well maintained, not smelly or worn out as some other even pricey hotels and for really good money value. We had a lovely, cosy room on the 3rd floor with balcony with nice view of the street and surroundings however not nosy at all. Breakfast was served a la card out of 3 sets and English breakfast was good, with fruits and eggs, coffee, tea, juice. Fantastic swimming pool made it a really great stay even though in the middle of the city!

Great location, no need to use transportation, you can just walk around for the main sights. When we were there the pool was just ours. They give you pool towels as well.

Location, really in the middle of town surrounded by restaurants and shops. It is an old fashioned colonial building old with nice wooden floors and beds. Staff are ready to help.

Very friendly, attentive staff. The rooftop bar was great, again lovely staff and a small food menu with quality offerings. Refreshing swimming pool with towels provided.

The friedliness of the staff is one of a kind, super friendly also to our little baby... gorgeous sri lankan breakfast besides all the european options and of course the location is amazing - everything is in walkeable distance... :)

Love the large pool, the location and the good sized, comfortable room. I often stay here when in Kandy. The staff are super helpful too, and there is a great cafe next door at the end of an alley.

This hotel is very close to the Temple and the lake and right in Kandy. All the double rooms were very clean and we had a nice balcony room. The reception staff and breakfast staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly. The top floor bar was excellent, air conditioned and two balconies. Breakfast was buffet style with some traditional Sri Lankan food.

Very friendly and professional staff - special thanks to the lovely lady on reception, the very polite and efficient young man in the roof top bar and Mr Security who looked after our car. Great food and service in the restaurant/roof top bar. Great location in the heart of Kandy so easy to walk to most attractions

My boyfriend and me really liked this place! Very kind people who work there, they help you with everything. The swimming pool is very nice for the mid day hours. The place is in the middle of the city, very good location. Also take a walk around the lake, there is so much to see if you like animals.

In a good location for walking to Sri Dalada Maligawa. Rooftop bar is good, great views friendly service. There are 2 outdoor seating areas if its not too hot. Lift wasnt working when we stayed but worth the 5 flights of stairs. Staff all very friendly especially the ladies on reception. We ordered a packed lunch for the long train ride to Ella. The cheese and tomato sandwiches were great. Breakfast is ok, bread basket is the best we have ever received. Its good value for what you pay.

Friendly, helpful staff and fantastic location close to the temple and lake. After an enjoyable sight seeing day we enjoyed cooling off in the pool and having a cocktail in the roof top bar.
